Especially for a busy budding or well-established leader like yourself, listening to podcasts is a great way to hone your skills and learn more about yourself and your leadership style (and others) on the go.

So we did some digging, asked some folks, and have compiled the ultimate list to help get you where you need to be this year and beyond. From business talks to psychology and relationship advice, here are the best leadership podcasts to follow in 2022.

1. Dare to Lead

Based on her book of the same name, which debuted at #1 on the New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller lists, Dare to Lead has been renowned as the ultimate playbook for leaders at every level.

In this podcast, Brené sits down with innovators and visionaries of all walks of life to discuss what it means to be a great leader and to help listeners dare to lead.

2. Finding Our Way

Writer, healer, teacher, and Somatics practitioner, Prentis Hemphill, doesn’t have all the answers. What they do have is the willingness to help us explore ourselves and the skills needed to create the world we want – and that’s exactly what Finding Our Way is all about.

Through conversations of healing, accountability, embodiment, and creativity, Prentis brings complex and nuanced topics to the forefront to help listeners challenge their understanding and ultimately become better versions of themselves.

3. Self Control & Cheese

Because sometimes it’s just as useful to listen to others who are also going through it.

In this podcast, two twenty-somethings, Sara Pion and Bridget Poetker, working at two of the fastest growing tech companies are sick of conversations that aren’t happening about career growth and development, and they want to change that.

4. Girlboss Radio

Calling all budding thought-leaders and out of the box thinkers! Hosted by ilovecreatives founder, Puno, this one’s ear candy for those who need help defining what success looks like to them.

Puno chats with leaders across all industries and walks of life so listeners can hear “how success can be so much more than just likes, dollars, growth or any single measurement”.

5. The Man Enough Podcast

What does it mean to be a man in the modern world? What does it mean to be human?

Hosted by actor and director Justin Baldoni, author and journalist Liz Plank, and President of Wayfarer Studios and award winning music producer Jamey Heath, The Man Enough Podcast explores the traditional structures and norms associated with masculinity, and how it negatively affects all of us.

Every week, the hosts sit down with thought-leaders and celebrities to discuss how messages of masculinity manifest themselves in our relationships, privilege, success, and more. If you’re looking to better connect with yourself and audibly say “wow” at least a few times an episode, highly recommend.

6. No stupid questions

There really is no such thing as a stupid question, and Author Stephen J. Dubner and research psychologist Angela Duckworth made this podcast to prove it.

If you’re a person who loves to dig into why humans do what they do, and in turn why you do what you do, this is the one for you. It’s light-hearted, yet informative, and you’re bound to leave every episode having learned something.

7. Hidden Brain

To understand how to lead, we have to understand how we think and feel, and how to communicate with others who are also thinking and feeling.

In this insightful podcast, Shankar Vedantam uses science to explore unconscious patterns that shape our choices, macro level effects, and day-to-day relationships.

8. The Pitch

Can you guess what this one’s about?

Josh Muccio wants to help founders-to-be properly pitch to investors, and he’s teaching you how in this podcast. With just about 100 episodes, he’s got everything you need to prepare for the perfect pitch.

9. Self Made Babe

Women entrepreneurs, this one’s for you.

Blog and business turned podcast, Self Made Babe, hosted by Marie Ann Altuve, is a raw and unfiltered conversation about business, social media, personal development, and lifestyle for women looking for inspiration as they become that girl.

10. The Homecoming Podcast

Hosted by minister, author, psychologist, and President Elect of the American Psychological Association, Dr. Thema Bryant’s poetic nature and hard hitting advice will leave you feeling refreshed and more connected to yourself after each episode.

The podcast is described as a journey “home to yourself” – with weekly inspiration and health tips, Dr. Thema helps you show up for yourself so you can do the same for others.

So there you have it – ten of the best podcasts to help you become the best version of yourself in 2022. Special thanks to our Humigos, Founder and Community Lead at All In, Brendan Hufford, and writers and pals at Superpath, Sara Gates and Lindsey Alexander, for contributing to this stellar list!

But also *pstttt* quick reminder that you don’t have to have it all together right now, nor do you need to listen to every single one of these podcasts. Poke around and find what inspires you. You’re already a better leader than you were before taking this next step.
