If you haven’t heard, we’re the official Preferred Business Software Partner of the Vancouver Canucks – and we’re more pumped than ever to be a part of the vibrant business community that exists on the West Coast. What better way to celebrate than to show the West Coast some love? And since we're all about supporting local businesses that share our passion for innovation and Canadian spirit, it's only fitting we spotlight some West Coast companies that have caught our eye.

So, without further ado, here are six companies that we're proud to call our West Coast favourites!

Vessi

Many Humigos are loving dog owners, which means they’re subject to walks in the unpredictable Canadian weather. That’s why waterproof footwear brand from Vancouver, Vessi, is first on our list of West Coast favourites. (We’re starting this list off on the right foot… get it?)

Their innovative product has saved many people from the horror of wet socks – but a big reason they made our list is their commitment to giving back to Canadians. Vessi is partners with Water First, an organization bringing clean water solutions to Indigenous communities across Canada through programs like their Drinking Water Internship Program. They value both functionality and social responsibility, so they deserve all of our kudos.

Unbounce

This list wouldn’t be complete without an innovative tech company, and an easy West Coast tech favourite? Unbounce. They’re a software company that is revolutionizing the way marketers build, publish, and test landing pages. The best part: their platform requires no coding knowledge, making it accessible to a wide range of users.

This commitment to user-friendly innovation is what sets Unbounce apart and why we're proud to include them on our list of favourites. Their dedication to making complex tasks simple embodies the entrepreneurial spirit we admire in the West Coast business community.

Square One Insurance

As a client of Humi, Square One Insurance holds a special place in our hearts. We see them as our counterparts in insurance – they’re truly revolutionizing the insurance industry in the same way we’re changing the payroll, HR, and benefits industries.

They've taken an industry that hadn't seen much change in decades and turned it on its head, making insurance simple, customizable, and accessible. And they’ve managed to do it all digitally! Their innovative approach to home and car insurance, coupled with their dedication to customer service, makes them a standout on the West Coast. We're proud to call them a client and even prouder to include them in our list of favourite West Coast companies.

Arc’teryx

Arc'teryx is a true gem of the West Coast, embodying the spirit of innovation and design that we admire so much at Humi. Founded by local climbers in British Columbia in 1989, Arc'teryx is a company for like-minded individuals who are passionate about creating unrivalled performance gear to endure the cold Canadian weather.

Their commitment to timeless quality and intuitive design allows them to constantly evolve and build products the right way – something we try to do with our product here at Humi, too. This dedication to quality and innovation is why we're proud to include them on our list of West Coast favourites!

Canadian College

Another West Coast favourite that doubles as one of our clients: Canadian College is an institution of lifelong learning, a value that resonates deeply with us at Humi. Offering a range of programs in Business, Hospitality, International Trade, Project Management, IT, and Social Media, Canadian College is committed to providing its students with invaluable learning experiences and skills that they can carry beyond the workplace. Their dedication to fostering an environment of growth and development aligns perfectly with our value of always striving to grow and improve – so, it’s only fitting that they have a spot on our list of West Coast favs.

Canadian Mental Health Association (British Columbia)

Founded in 1918, the Canadian Mental Health Association British Columbia (CMHA BC) is an established and extensive community mental health organization in Canada. At Humi, we truly value caring for your mental health, so this is a cause that aligns with us deeply. CMHA BC’s committed to making mental health a universal human right, a vision that we wholeheartedly support. Through their wide range of innovative services and support, CMHA BC is making a significant impact on the lives of millions of Canadians on the West Coast. Their dedication to mental health promotion and support is something we find truly commendable, which is why we couldn’t leave them off our list of West Coast favourites.
